  • Traditionally, chemotherapy is given by injection. There are different ways of injecting chemotherapy drugs into the body. Some of the more common methods are described in the focus on colorectal cancer section of this site; however their use is not limited to colorectal cancer.
  • Recent advances have meant that there are now types of chemotherapy that can be taken in the form of a tablet or capsule. This is known as oral chemotherapy .
